Eni-Iran is a project that is targeted at the people of Ogotun community in Ekiti State, Nigeria. This is a community blessed with an abundance of a non-wooden plant Thaumatococus denielli (Ewe-Iran) as the greatest natural resources.With leaves from this plant, mat weaving is the Major source of livelihood of the people.unfortunately, the style of mat weaving of these rural dwellers no longer meet the modern global standard, as such,they are faced with very low patronage and acceptability.The problem of this hardworking yet,earning low income people precipitated the need for our team’s apt action.As part of our determination to increase the quality of life and the standard of living,we are rebranding the mat into more fashionable modern products in form of bags, pen holder,ipad pouch, laptop carriers, interior decoration, hand fan, market basket e.t.c. The product will be economically affordable at different outlets within and outside Ekiti State
